Parasitic pathologies pose a threat to the sustainability of large felines. While the risks vary depending on the species, the consequences can be devastating. Conservation programs for wild felines often include measures to prevent and treat parasitic infestations, as well as to monitor and control species-specific parasitic diseases. This study focuses on the use of VERMIVAC, an antiparasitic agent from Provapc Laboratories, which was used on the felids at the zoo in the experimental garden of El Hamma in Algiers. These works allowed evaluating the effectiveness of the treatment based on the environment, diet, and hygiene of each enclosure.
